Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of Prompt Bot Learning (the "Service"), operated by Prompt Bot Learning. By creating an account or purchasing a subscription you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts

Accounts are for parents and guardians aged 18 or over.

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• Children do not create accounts — a parent creates learner profiles on their behalf.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

3. What's free and what's paid

The learning modules, sandbox games and one Homework Check are free. Paid plans unlock unlimited Homework Checks, the full Rulebook, Mission Reports and additional learner profiles.

• Free — $0, no card required.
• Family — $9.99/month or $79/year, up to 4 learner profiles.
• Pro — $14.99/month or $119/year, up to 6 learner profiles.

4. Billing and renewals

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
• Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that may be added at checkout.
• Upgrades and downgrades take effect through the billing portal, with proration applied by Stripe where relevant.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; changes never apply to a period you've already paid for.

5. Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel at any time from Manage billing on the pricing page. Cancellation stops future charges and your access continues until the end of the paid period.

• We do not automatically refund partial periods.
• If something went wrong — a duplicate charge, a plan you never used, a technical fault — email hello@promptbotlearning.com within 14 days and we'll make it right.

6. Acceptable use

Use the Service for your own family's learning. You agree not to:

• Share account credentials outside your household or resell access.
• Upload other people's personal information, or content you don't have the right to submit.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
• Use the Service for anything unlawful or harmful.

7. Homework Check and AI output

Homework Check sends the text or screenshot you submit to an AI model to produce a parent-facing assessment. It is a conversation starter, not a verdict.

• AI detection is inherently probabilistic — results can be wrong in both directions.
• Do not use a Homework Check result as sole evidence in a school disciplinary process.
• Do not submit another child's work, or sensitive personal data, through the tool.

8. Educational disclaimer

The Service is an educational tool, not a substitute for parental judgement, school policy, or professional advice. We make no guarantee of specific educational outcomes, grades, or academic decisions.

9. Intellectual property

Lessons, missions, comics, artwork and code are owned by Prompt Bot Learning. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them within your household. Work your child creates stays yours.

10. Availability and changes

We aim for the Service to be available continuously, but it is provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may add, change, or retire features, and we'll give notice of material changes that affect a paid plan.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

12. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where practical. On termination we delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
